The 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander gives every buyer a strong foundation, no matter which trim they pick. All seven trims share a 1.5 L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with a 48V belt-driven starter generator, producing 174 hp and 206 lb-ft of torque. Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) is standard across the board, and every Outlander seats seven and tows up to 2,000 lbs (907 kg).
That shared base makes choosing a trim a question of features. The ES, SE, LE, SEL, GT, GT Premium and NOIR each add equipment in clear steps, from heated steering wheels and navigation to leather seating, a head-up display and blacked-out styling. This guide breaks down each trim so you can match the right Outlander to your needs.
The ES puts the core of the Outlander experience within easy reach. It comes with S-AWC and six drive modes, Auto High Grade LED headlights, headlight washers, heated side-view mirrors and a windshield wiper de-icer. Inside, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control and a 12.3-inch Smartphone Link Display Audio system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard.
The SE builds on the ES with features you notice every day. A heated steering wheel, LED fog lights and heated, power-folding side-view mirrors with integrated turn signals make cold mornings easier. A power panoramic sunroof brightens the cabin.
The LE adds technology that helps on longer trips and in tight parking spots. Embedded navigation, SiriusXM 360L and Mitsubishi Connect join the infotainment system, and the Multi View Camera System with Moving Object Detection gives a clear view around the vehicle.
The SEL steps up to leather-appointed seats and adds comfort for every row. Heated second-row seats and ventilated front seats are standard, and the driver’s seat gains key-linked memory for the seat and exterior mirrors.
The GT adds the Outlander’s most complete set of driver assistance features. Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Prevention, Active Blind Spot Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition are all standard. A 10.8-inch head-up display keeps key information in view.
The GT Premium keeps everything from the GT and upgrades the cabin. Semi-aniline leather-appointed seats with brown stitching, a black headliner and a frameless digital rearview mirror with HomeLink give the interior a richer look and feel.
The NOIR pairs the premium cabin of the GT Premium with a distinctive dark exterior. Black-painted 20-inch alloy wheels, a black-painted dynamic shield, gloss black skid plates, black roof rails and dark emblems set it apart in any parking lot.
